This song tells the story of Manon, a strongheaded woman who lived in the past and who was deported as criminal to Australia. Her lover committed a crime to be able to reach her. Once in Australia they succeed to flee slavery but die in the desert.
lyrics
Fly, fly you butterfly,
They dont see, what you see.
Can’t take judge upon your light.
They seal, wehere their mind would flee,
What queries their beliefs, my pretty baby.
How cruel the world has gone,
where we don’t belong, my pretty darling.
Fly, fly you butterly,
I’m coming back to you.
Smash all the bondage you’ve been through.
They seal, wehere their mind would flee,
What queries their beliefs, my pretty baby.
How cruel the world has gone,
where we don’t belong, my pretty darling.
Oh, when the stars shine bright,
I commited a crime.
He screamed like a lullaby to me,
All i glimpsed was the key to be.
Oh, when the time was right,
I commited a crime.
Wrested from the cage,
Isn’t it sage to die dry, baby.
Ran for our lives,
Melted by, forever darling.
They seal, wehere their mind would flee,
What queries their beliefs, my pretty baby.
How cruel the world has gone,
where we don’t belong, my pretty darling.
